It has everything you could possibly think of. No matter if you want to find something that’s creative or something more structured you just point the discovery engine in remotely the right direction and you’ll begin discovering all of these cool website that you might not have ever found out about by yourself. Along the way you can mark websites as your favorite so you can keep track of whatcha like and if you run across something that you don’t find impressive, you just click the stumble button and keep on stumbling.

Now, it wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t throw out a disclaimer to you. http://www.stumbleupon.com/ can be very very very addicting. You think facebook can be bad? You could get on roll and stumble for an hour and a half straight when you were only suppose to just check you facebook for “5 minutes” and then start your paper. Either way it wouldn’t kill us to have a new vice or than facebook, so this is my new bad habit gift to you.

TBWA\Chiat\Day Beefing Up and Saying Goodbye

TBWA\Chiat\Day has added three new comers to their creative team on their Nissan account in order to keep things fresh and to keep the brand moving a positive direction.Chiat Pic TBWA\Chiat\Day Beefing Up and Saying Goodbye

The three new additions are directors Dylan Schwartz, Garman Yip and Glenn Sanders. These three have experience on lots of car brands e.g. Nissan, Infinity, Scion, Acura, Honda, and Harley-Davidson. They also have a art directing background with a strong infuses in digital design.

TBWA\Chiat\Day said goodbye to the former Media Arts Lab ACD, Alicia Dotter, who has joined Team One as a creative director. At TBWA\Chiat\Day Dotter worked on campaigns such as, Mac vs. PC and iPhone. Dotter has quite the work experience, she has also worked at Mad Dogs, The Sloan Group, Tribal DDB and Deutsch.  At Team One she will be working on Ritz-Carlton, and Lexus accounts.

And that concludes my TBWA\Chiat\Day stalking for today.

The Total Package: The Donation Poster

I personally enjoyed this outdoor ad because it had the total package and then some. The total package includes nice copy and nice art direction, the and then some includes the fact that you can participate with the ad. This ad quickly established the four A’s. By with grabbing peoples attention, promoting awareness of the brand, shaping their attitude towards concern for the brands cause and finally, people taking action because they actually donated 50 cents. Enough said.

Clean Cut Copy

I just thought the copy was clever and got to point of the ad’s strategy. The brand is French CCFD-terre Solidaire and the agency that did this print ad is EURO RSCG C&O,  Paris from Paris, France.
